Biography

Thomas Renter CRNA is the principle of Anesthesia Consulting.  Mr. Renter has been a CRNA for 23 years. He has been the named expert witness in over 50 medico-legal cases and has extensive experience in deposition and trial. 

Mr. Renter served in the United States Air Force for 25 years.  After an initial active duty tour in Weapons Systems Security, he joined the Air Force Reserve.  He cross-trained into Aeromedical Evacuation, was selected as a Flight Instructor, and accumulated over 500 mission flying hours while attending college full-time.  He received his BSN and returned to active duty as a Registered Nurse.  In 1990 he attended  Anesthesia School, graduating in 1992.  As an Air Force CRNA he was deployed to Guantanimo Bay, Cuba to provide anesthesia for arriving Haitian refugees during the Haitian Boat Lift.  He retired from the Air Force as a Major in 2002 and lives and works in the Tampa, FL area.
